<“TOKYO BURST-Crime City-” STORY >
Shinjuku Kabukicho, the dark metropolis of East Asia. The man who struts with a swagger is Shiro Aiba, a rookie detective at Shinjuku Central Police Station. Born and raised in Kabukicho, Aiba is a former gang leader whose strength and hot temper always get him into trouble. One day, Detective Choi Si-woo from the Korean National Police Agency arrives in Japan in pursuit of a notorious criminal group wanted internationally. The two men are at odds from day one and are on the verge of a fight, but when they receive information that the wanted criminal is hiding in Kabukicho, they form an impromptu partnership and begin a joint investigation. As they continue their investigation despite their conflicts, a group robbery triggers a major conflict between a militant yakuza and Kabukicho's largest host club group. Furthermore, criminal groups join the fray, and Shinjuku, which has become a battlefield, is engulfed in the darkness of chaos.
And behind it all, a massive conspiracy involving state power was swirling.
